  1. Very wise choice and I can see your excitement! I think you and Colin will love exploring Quebec and the eastern provinces or US East coast if permitted. If not, plenty to see and savour in Quebec and as you said, there’s always Toronto. 🧡

    1. Thanks, Moo! Definitely think we have lots of options and will find something fun 🙂

I know how you feel! We got married in 2020 and still did not have our honeymoon. We wanted to travel the whole world (literally). Instead all plans got cancelled. I stopped making plans alltogether as we still don’t have all the money back… I’m extremely happy for you that you have booked your honeymoon and wish you all the best!

    1. Congrats on your wedding! I’m sorry your plans were cancelled; that sounds like such an epic honeymoon. I hope you’re able to rebook when it’s safe to do so! Thank you for the well wishes!

I think you’ve made a wise choice, especially as things are still so uncertain. I would LOVE to visit Canada. It looks beautiful and it’s an absolutle dream of mine to go one day. Japan is also on my list!

    1. Thanks, Jenny! Hope you can travel to Canada and Japan when it’s safe to do so!

  4. Ah, massive congratulations, I don’t think I’d clocked your happy news! I actually think your new plans are perfect, what a wonderful way to spend time together and how exciting to be able to see so many places rather than just one 🙂 x

    1. Thank you so much! We’re really looking forward to it!

  5. Aw, this seems splendid! We just did Mexico for our honeymoon in 2019 and I have yet to explore the East coast! I haven’t done any trip planning since everything just feel so uncertain still, especially in Canada! I hope to go to Hawaii or Bali first 🙂 xx

    1. Thanks so much, Lynn! Hawaii was also one of our back up honeymoon plans but we were worried about any border/quarantine issues there or on the way back. But definitely hoping to visit Hawaii again and Bali for the first time soon too!

  6. I hope you still manage to have the best time! I’m so glad you’re managing to book a trip of any kind, travel is just so difficult right now. It’s so much harder now that different countries are at different stages of the vaccination process and seeing the other side. Even if things are looking good at home it might be a totally different story where you’re wanting to go. I really hope you still manage your big trip at some point though, the original, plan sounded like such an epic adventure! Maybe for an anniversary? x

    1. Thanks so much! Yes, it’s a super tricky time to travel and we have no idea what the world will look like in a few months. We’ll definitely make it to New Zealand and Japan at some point in the future!

Such a shame your two plans were to some of the most inaccessible places in the world right now. But hey your new plan sounds amazing. Quebec does look stunning, and New England in the fall- perfect.

    1. Thanks! We’re excited about it and will definitely get to Japan and New Zealand when we can!

  8. While planning anything is usually one of my favorite activities, I don’t envy you having to try and keep on top of all the restrictions and regulations right now. All your ideas sound amazing though, and I’m sure you’ll love whatever you do. Exploring eastern Canada is right up on my list too

    1. Thanks so much, Emma! Looking forward to it!

I’m sure you might be a bit disappointed that it won’t be your dream trip, but your intended plans are a good runner up. You’ll love it! Also, you will have a lifetime of travels and no matter what your honeymoon will be special no matter what or where you go.

    1. Thanks, Renee! So true, we’ll be travelling forever!

This has definitely been a crazy time to plan anything and as we plan our own wedding and honeymoon, we can relate!

Sounds like a lovely trip though! Have always wanted to explore more of Canada and New England area is awesome!

    1. Thanks, Gus! Best of luck to you and your fiance on your wedding and honeymoon planning too. Certainly a wild time!
