  1. Looks like a few great reads for raising awareness of important diversity and inclusion perspectives. I would take your recommendation on the first one too. It sounds like a great read.

  2. Ooh, with the exception of the last one (as I don’t enjoy self-help books) they all look fantastic! I’m very drawn to The Bad Muslim Discount because I love stories that span a huge amount of time so it sounds ideal for me. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it!

    1. Hope you enjoy The Bad Muslim Discount. It was definitely a great read!

  3. Not heard of any of these books before so thanks for sharing. I love book recs so will be looking out for your monthly wrap up in future.

I think I’ll get You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey on audible for my next listen. You said you liked hearing their voices so I’m assuming the authors are also the narrators?

    Great wrap up! 😁

    1. Thanks so much, Shireen! Yes, “You’ll Never Believe…” is narrated by the two sisters, which makes it even funnier. Their comedic timing is great and I think makes it funnier than just reading it off the page.

  4. You’ll Never Believe What Happened To Lacey sounds like a good book to read and get sucked into, but also an important topic. I’m not much of an audio book person but I think I need to try so I can up my book count a bit easier. I get wanting to see the photos referenced but this also sounds like one where it would be good to hear the writer telling the stories, especially as a comedian I’m sure there’s great delivery

    1. Audiobooks have been super helpful for me. When I don’t have time to sit down and read, it’s so easy to listen to a book while I do other things. Definitely recommend starting with a non-fiction book read by the author, if you’re into those types of books, as I find them easiest to follow on audio.

I’ve never heard of these books but they definitely sound like such fun and interesting reads! Now that grad school is over I think I’ll look into getting one of these to read.

    1. Congrats on finishing grad school! Hope you find some nice books to read for fun!

  6. The guide to an international life sounds like a good read!

    1. Thanks, Barry! Haha it’s “intentional” but the author does make an international move, so maybe that’s a better fit. Definitely a better fit for us travel lovers!
