    Hi Riana,

Wow. You’re really fortunate to be able to spend 3 weeks there to learn the language. I am sure the 3 weeks are a whole a lot more valuable than a few months’ of learning the language back in your home country!

Enjoy your last week in Tokyo!

Thanks, I plan to! And yes, I am so lucky to be here 🙂

  2. One of the things that struck me most about Japan was how brutish I felt in comparison to the Japanese women – in my physicality and mannerisms – and also how beautifully they’d wrap or package even the smallest purchase. Quite a memorable trip staying at the New Otani and hosting meetings in the cool Cdn embassy. Enjoy your time there!

I definitely know what you mean; they take graceful to a whole new level! And the packaging is crazy – I don’t walk out of a store without a few layers of wrapping and multiple bags for one tiny item. Thanks!
