  1. Love this Boo, brings back all my fond memories of Singapore although it was almost 46 yrs ago when The Ang clan passed through Singapore when immigrating to Canada from Malaysia. I am so glad to hear the zoo is just as amazing today as it was to me back then. I always wondered if it was just one of those things where I was super impressionable by everything outside of the country I grew up in at my young age of 8. You know how it is when everything seems bigger and better when you’re a kid. I am sure I will be blown away with the zoo now. Of course the heat didn’t bother me then because I was acclimatized to the temp coming from Malaysia. I remember arriving in Toronto in the latter half of Aug 1973 and we found it cold in TO, haha. I am sure it was about 87 degrees out, yes, it was still in Farenheit back then. The locals stared at us wearing long pants with sweaters, lol. I am not sure I can withstand the heat in Singapore now, but to see it again, I would definitely give it a shot and take lots of AC breaks. Thanks for the tips you always handily provide, so helpful to someone traveling there for the first time, and good to know the must see places and other tips. I can’t wait to hear all about Hawker stalls and the rest of the Singapore excursion. ..💕😊

    1. Thanks, Moo! Would be fun for you to go back and see how much has changed. I’m sure it would be a big difference to what you remember as a little one.
