All sounds terrific! I will always live vicariously through you Boo! But I will visit when you are on your Europe trip with baby for sure. I had no idea Antarctica was that expensive, wow!

    1. Thanks, Moo! Yes, you’re definitely invited on our future adventures!

  2. Antartica is also one of my dreams, I’m hoping to eventually save up to visit as I’ve been fascinated with it since I was a child and visited HMS Discovery and learned about Captain Scott.
New Zealand, Japan, India and Colombia are all on my wishlist too, Japan in particular is pretty high up there and I’d love to visit next year if possible. I’ve been to both South Korea and Taiwan and would highly recommend them both too – the food in them was fantastic!

    1. Yes, Antarctica is the big one! I hope we both get there one day. And thanks for the tips on South Korea and Taiwan. Can’t wait!

Some great trips to get excited about and good to see you not letting a potential little one disrupt your travels! πŸ™‚

Would love to go to all of these places!

    1. Thanks so much, Jason! Happy travelling to us both!

  4. Love this Riana! Looks like you and Colin have a lot to look forward to over the next few years. I’m excited for you both πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks so much, Hannah! We’re looking forward to it!

  5. What a fantastic list! I can’t wait to travel again.

Ooh! The parental leave sounds fascinating! I’ve never known anyone to plan to travel before the baby is 1. I’d love to do that too! I definitely want to do an Asia trip and go to Bali, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. I’d also have to travel down Italy too! Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your engagement! x

    1. Thanks so much, Lynn! I hadn’t heard of anyone doing a parental leave trip either but then I started doing some research and found so many families who travel with infants. It was super inspiring! Happy future travels!

  7. These all look like such good places. Antarctica is so high on my list, and I’ve always wanted to go to India too. Love the idea of parental leave traveling. My coworker did that: spent 6 months in Vancouver and 6 months in Costa Rica. I really want to explore more of Europe though so I agree with that one

    1. Thanks, Emma! Hope we both make it to Antarctica and India one safe day soon. And that’s so cool that your coworker did the parental leave trip! If they have a blog, I’d love to check it out!

Any of these trips would be amazing, but especially Antarctica!

I would love to travel across Canada, as well as see the Polar Bears in the north.

    1. Yes, such good bucket list ideas!

  9. Bernie and Jess Watt says:

Riana, so many great ideas. The Europe trip sounds the perfect pace but remember that the downfall of a babymoon in Japan or Korea may mean you don’t get to nom down on all the delicious, weird, and wonderful foods on offer πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks, Bernie and Jess! Fair enough about Japan or Korea. I’ve actually read that some fish/sushi is okay to eat, so hopefully I can stomach it!

  10. I will volunteer and be your nanny for your extended European trip! Nothing wrong with planning ahead and you have some great plans! It’s almost as fun as the holiday.

    1. Haha thanks, Renee! I’ll keep you posted on the dates πŸ˜‰

  11. Love this list! Do you mind if I use this list as inspo for a blog post? I have baby fever as well and I do daydream about going on a babymoon, although it would be somewhere beachy and relaxing.

    Thank you for sharing!

    1. Thanks so much, Hannah! Absolutely go ahead – happy to hear this inspired a blog post idea for you! If you want to shout me out and link to my post as the inspiration, that’d be awesome! Fingers crossed for both of our babymoons one day!

  12. Gus Feliciano says:

Love the list! Colombia will always be one of my favorite places I have ever travelled too and cannot wait to go back one day. Medellin is truly a must visit destination for any world traveler!

    1. Thanks, Gus! I can’t wait to visit Colombia and specifically Medellin one day!

  13. Travel Addicted Unicorn says:

Omg, all of those trips sound sooo good!! Would give anything to be able to travel right now. Number 2 and 5 sound amazing!! Have mostly been to Europe and North America so all of the rest are on my list as well. Hope you get to do them.

    1. Thanks for checking it out! Hope we all get to travel safely soon!
