  1. Thank you for sharing your tips! You were right that it is hard to find this specific info on the carnivale website😎 will bring some food and not show up too early tomorrow. Much appreciated.

  2. I am leading a group of French students in a few weeks and we have tickets to the Carnaval night parade in the stands in Zone A. Some of them have expressed not wanting to sit far away and instead stand closer to the floats on the street level. I’m not sure if you can answer this, but do you know if the tickets for seats in the grandstands allow you to choose to just stand in the standing area instead? I would think not but want to ask. Merci!

    1. Thanks for checking out the post, Amber. I know we had our tickets checked again upon entering the stands (they were checked when we originally entered the area after security too). But I’m not sure if there was someone checking tickets by the standing section. Since it’s a larger area and there’s no assigned places, I could see people being able to just go stand there if they wanted to. You can also stand in the seated area – lots of people were up and standing – and, in my opinion, it’s a better view of the floats. But you can walk around as well, so I would imagine your students could go stand somewhere if they preferred. I hope you all have fun!
