No advice or commentary – just a big hug!

      Aww thanks Auntie Marianne!

  2. Aw, I feel for you sweetie! It is totally understandable your melt-down. You have definitely been going hard and long and everything is new; to hit your senses all at once like this, surprise you haven’t had a few cries. Well, please don’t worry or put pressure on yourself about packing your days full; part of being there is also just enjoying their way of life and we can learn from Europeans about going back to the basics and away from this rat-race NA tends to have.

Thanks again for the detailed descriptions of your trip, I feel like I’m right there with you a what a great guide to use for future travel; love the pics too. Hey, the paella looks so good and you know if I was there I would have gladly helped with the shrimp heads – yum!

Love you so much boo, and do take it easy the rest of your trip…it is perfectly ok and not every city requires a busy schedule…especially the south with the heat. Don’t worry about hotels w/ac either, just let me know if you need me to transfer money.

Take care of yourself, your feet and watch that heat.

    xo

Thanks moo – really needed to hear all that. Love you lots and thanks for reading/supporting me. I had a very chill day today so I think I’m better rested for the remainder of my trip. But I’m still going to try and go a bit slower. Wish you were there to eat the paella with me! Love you lots!

Aww Riri totally expected for everything you’re doing! Crying in public = GTs! My entire family thinks you’re amazing – PS. We spent a lengthy time talking about solo travel and how they don’t think they would be able to do it 🙂 Hopefully Madrid is just as amazing as Barcelona!

    1. Riana.Autumn says:

Haha thanks! It wasn’t as gts as you’d think. Aww I’m sure you could! PS: who is this? Lol – you didn’t write your name on the comment!

Haha! I guessed it was you or Em! Sorry! Now I’ll know “Cool cat Mireille!”

    Hi Lil’ Monkey:

I’m late getting to you, but I wish I could be there to give you a big, big hug & wipe away your tears. I wish I could be there with you – we would have such a blast being awed by all the touristy stuff, but then we’d also enjoy just chilling on a cafe people watching and cracking each other up with our twisted sense of humour. I hope you just stay in the moment each day..enjoy whatever it is you are doing – sitting, sleeping, taking in a beautiful coastline….don’t get ahead and worry about the next day or whether you’ve been doing enough. No one, including yourself should be judging. Everyone I speak to back here, thinks it’s absolutely amazing that you are doing all this on your own…they all comment on how brave and confident you are.
I also think its very cool that you would bare your soul like that in your blog…it makes it more real and more honest. Everyone back here in Etobs loves you, misses you & can’t wait to see you

Aww thanks dad! You’re making me cry all over again. Yeah, it would be cool to have you here – you would enjoy a lot of the stuff I’m seeing. I’m trying not to worry/judge but it’s hard. Thanks for all the love and support! See you soon!
